Smithies Karaoke & DJ Hire Introduces Updated Pricing Effective 1 January 2026
Bundaberg, QLD – Smithies Karaoke & DJ Hire has today implemented its new pricing structure, effective from 1 January 2026, following a strategic review and industry feedback recommending an adjustment to current rates.
CEO Wade Smith explained that the revision was the result of ongoing discussions with fellow business owners who highlighted that the company’s pricing had remained well below standard market levels for several years.
“Throughout 2025, numerous business owners told me I was charging far too little for the level of service, equipment, and support provided,” Mr Smith said. “While I’ve always wanted to stay affordable, the new pricing ensures that we can continue offering high-quality entertainment while keeping our services sustainable.”
The new pricing model includes:
Karaoke: $120 per hour
Music Only: $220 per hour
Schools Pricing: $100 per hour (20% discount applied)
Lighting: Provided at no additional cost
Combined Karaoke + Music: $198 per hour (10% discount per hour)
The company reaffirmed its commitment to supporting local schools, offering an increased 20% educational discount as part of the updated structure.
