Bundaberg, QLD – Smithies Karaoke & DJ Hire has announced that a scheduled price increase will take effect from Thursday, 1 January 2026 at 12:00 AM, following ongoing industry feedback recommending an adjustment to bring pricing in line with local market standards.

Wade Smith, CEO of Smithies Karaoke & DJ Hire, stated that while affordability has always been a core focus of the business, the updated pricing will support continued investment in high-quality equipment, reliable service, and regional event delivery.

“After numerous conversations with fellow business owners telling me I’m far too cheap for the service I provide, I’ve finally decided it’s time to review and realign my pricing,” Mr Smith said. “I still want my services to remain accessible, but sustainability is important too.”

Key changes include:

• All general pricing will increase from 1 January 2026

• School Discounts will increase to 20%, supporting ongoing partnerships with local educational communities

• The existing 10% per-hour combined discount for Karaoke + Music packages will remain unchanged

Customers are encouraged to secure bookings before 31 December 2025 to lock in the current 2025 pricing.
