Terms of Service for Smithies Karaoke and DJ Hire

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service govern the hire of DJ services from Smithies Karaoke and DJ Hire. By booking our services, you agree to comply with these terms.

2. Services Provided

Smithies Karaoke and DJ Hire offers DJ services for various events, including but not limited to weddings, parties, corporate events, and festivals. Specific services will be detailed in the booking agreement.

3. Booking and Payment

  • Booking: To secure your event date, a signed contract and deposit are required.

  • Payment: Full payment is due 7 before the event. Accepted payment methods include bank transfer.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Client Cancellations: If you cancel the booking, the following terms apply:

    • 3-7 days notice: partial refund of 10%

    • On Day of booking notice: NO REFUND

  • DJ Cancellations: If we must cancel, you will receive a full refund of any payments made from 90 days or credit on your account for the full amount to use when ever you want.

5. Responsibilities

  • Client Responsibilities: You are responsible for providing accurate event details and ensuring access to the venue.

  • DJ Responsibilities: We will arrive on time, provide the agreed-upon services, and conduct ourselves professionally.

6. Liability

Smithies Karaoke and DJ Hire is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the services.

7. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of war, or government actions.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in Australian courts.

9. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately.
