Deposit Policy for Smithies Karaoke and DJ Hire

To ensure fairness and security for both our clients and our team, the following deposit policy applies to all DJ service bookings with Smithies Karaoke and DJ Hire.
1. Booking Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to secure your DJ booking. This amount will be deducted from the total cost of your service.
2. Payment Methods
Deposits can be made via:
Bank Transfer
Payment details will be provided upon booking confirmation.
3. Booking Confirmation
Your booking is only considered confirmed once the deposit has been received. If the deposit is not received within 3 business days of your initial request, the date may be made available to other clients.
4. Cancellation Policy
All deposits are non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
More than 14 days’ notice: Your deposit may be transferred to a new date within 12 months (subject to availability).
Less than 14 days’ notice: Deposit is forfeited.
5. Rescheduling
Clients may reschedule once free of charge with at least 14 days' notice. Additional reschedules or short-notice changes may incur a fee and are subject to availability.
6. Final Payment
The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event date, unless other arrangements have been agreed upon in writing. Failure to pay may result in the cancellation of your booking without refund.
