Community Support Initiative Announced Following Bundaberg Flooding

Local entertainment provider Smithies Karaoke and DJ Hire has announced a community support initiative following the recent flooding that has impacted many residents, businesses, and community organisations across the Bundaberg region.

In an effort to assist the community during the recovery period, Smithies Karaoke and DJ Hire will be offering FREE DJ and Karaoke services for approved community fundraising events and flood recovery initiatives, subject to availability.

Owner Wade Smith said the initiative is about giving back to the community that has supported the business over the years.

“Bundaberg is a strong community, and during difficult times it’s important that we support one another. If we can help bring people together through community fundraising events, then we’re proud to do our part,” Mr Smith said.

The initiative will support events such as community fundraisers, recovery benefit nights, and local support initiatives designed to assist those affected by the flooding.

In addition, Smithies Karaoke and DJ Hire is also planning to organise a dedicated fundraising event to support Angels Community Group, as well as assist local businesses that may require financial support during the recovery process.
