🌺 Remembrance Day 2025 — Honouring Our Heroes at Bargara Foreshore
On Tuesday, 11 November 2025, our team at Smithies Karaoke & DJ Hire was honoured to provide professional audio and event support services for the Remembrance Day ceremony held at the stunning Bargara Foreshore.
The event brought together more than 150 community members, all gathering to pause, reflect, and pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served — and continue to serve — our country.
About Remembrance Day
Remembrance Day is observed across Australia each year on 11 November, marking the moment in 1918 when the guns fell silent on the Western Front, signalling the end of the First World War. It stands as a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by those who fought for freedom, peace, and the values we cherish today.
At 11AM, the traditional minute of silence was observed, allowing attendees to reflect on the courage, resilience, and service of our veterans and fallen heroes.

We are incredibly proud to have been part of such a significant and meaningful event, ensuring that every word and moment of reflection could be heard clearly. Providing our services free of charge for this ceremony is one of the many ways we give back to the communities we serve throughout the Bundaberg and Wide Bay region.
