Thank you for purchasing a Gift Card from Smithies Karaoke & DJ Hire. By purchasing or redeeming a Gift Card, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. General

  1. Gift Cards are issued by Smithies Karaoke & DJ Hire (hereafter referred to as “the Company”).

  2. Gift Cards may only be used for goods and services offered by the Company, including karaoke and DJ services.

  3. Gift Cards are not considered legal tender and cannot be redeemed for cash, except where required by law.

2. Purchase & Value

  1. Gift Cards are available in denominations from $25.00 up to $1,000.00.

  2. Payment for Gift Cards must be made in full at the time of purchase.

  3. Gift Cards can be purchased online via our website.

3. Expiry & Validity

  1. Gift Cards have no expiry date and may be used at any time.

  2. Gift Cards remain the property of Smithies Karaoke & DJ Hire until redeemed.

  3. The Company is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged Gift Cards.



4. Redemption

  1. Gift Cards can be redeemed against any of our services, including but not limited to karaoke and DJ hire.

  2. Gift Cards must be presented at the time of booking or referenced online during checkout.

  3. If the total cost of services exceeds the Gift Card value, the balance must be paid using another accepted payment method.

  4. Gift Cards cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions, discounts, or special offers unless explicitly stated.

5. Refunds & Transfers

  1. Gift Cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

  2. Gift Cards are transferable; however, the Company is not responsible for unauthorized use.

6. Lost or Stolen Cards

  1. Lost or stolen Gift Cards will not be replaced unless proof of purchase and card details are provided.

  2. Treat Gift Cards like cash.

7. Liability

  1. The Company is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from the misuse, theft, or loss of Gift Cards.

  2. The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

8. Governing Law

  1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

  2. Any disputes arising from Gift Cards shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Queensland.
